Caroline Arnoux joins the Executive Committee of Arianespace as Head of the Ariane Business Unit

  • Arianespace announces the appointment of Caroline Arnoux as Head of the Ariane Business Unit. She will also be overseeing Vega operations up to flight VV29.

  • After being renewed in 2024, the Executive Committee of Arianespace now has eight members, with the same number of women as men, representing four nationalities.

 

Arianespace announces the appointment of Caroline Arnoux as Head of the Ariane Business Unit (BU). She therefore joins the company’s Executive Committee.

 

Caroline Arnoux began her career with Arianespace in 1996 after graduating from École Polytechnique and ISAE-SUPAERO. With 28 years of experience, her passion for space and her professional achievements have led her to hold several strategic positions at the company’s headquarters and at the Guiana Space Center (CSG). She notably held positions of responsibility in the sales directorate, before heading up the preparation and launch of the Vega program from 2009 to 2015.

 

In 2016, Caroline Arnoux was named Head of the Ariane 6 Business Line, within the Ariane 5, Ariane 6 and Soyuz Business Unit. Following the retirement of François Barreau, she is now joining Arianespace’s Executive Committee, as Head of the Ariane BU. She will also be overseeing the end of Arianespace’s exploitation of the Vega C launcher, a role in which she will be assisted by Fabrizio Fabiani, appointed Head of the Vega program at Arianespace.
